I Love Chairs!
When I enter a shop, flea market or garage sale the fun and fabulous chair in the corner will be the first thing to catch my eye. Whether I am drawn to their form, textiles or some other unique quality, there is no better find than a great chair! In fact I have several in my basement waiting for that much needed TLC! Most of these pieces do not have a home yet, so they wait, until someday when I find the perfect fabric, or paint color and the time to give them the love they deserve!
When redecorating a room adding a statement chair or refinishing an existing chair in a current fun fabric can instantly update the space. I love to use bold patterns on chairs and save the neutrals for the larger pieces in the room.

If bold fabrics aren't your thing think about the form and lines of the chair. Try introducing a piece that tells a story, whether that be from the materials it is made from or the scale of the design.
